...............… Salvador Cañellas was together with B. Grau 3rd in the standings after 24 hr in Mountjuich 1979 Barcelona. After 24 hrs. the two drivers had covered 754 laps. By comparison, the winners of the race C. Leon-JC Chemarin covered 773 laps on a Honda France 997 cc factory-race bike. This is a more than remarkable achievement for a semi-official private team like NCR Bologna...…………..

.............final assembly at the racetrack. Due to objection from the big factory teams, "Shilouette Races" did not allow experimental parts such as Titan box swingarms to be installed. These had to be replaced with an aluminum box swingarm in the same geometry but with slightly different shock absorber recordings and were never used in the race………....
.......... engine specifics: 90mm piston, 139mm con rod, 945cc displacement, lower cylinders (both cylinders and cylinder heads are sand cast) with only 13 fins (usually 864cc engines have 14 fins). In principle, a semi-short-stroke engine………....

Aluminum swingarm, raised left exhaust pipe to improve tilt angle at racetrack with mostly left turns (Mountjuich is a street circuit in Barcelona, the route is counterclockwise). Quick change system for rear wheel, ChromoMoly DASPA frame (motor is mounted a few mm higher to increase ground clearance in bends)…………...
